Help & Feeding Guide

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to feed G28 the right way — the ratio, the meat, the timeline, and what to expect.

01Can I feed G28 without raw meat?+

No. G28 is designed to be fed with raw meat. For best results: 50% G28 and 50% raw meat by weight.

This ratio is essential to achieve the intended nutritional balance.

02What kind of raw meat should I use?+

Use red meat with approximately 5% fat.

This helps maintain the correct macronutrient balance for energy, speed, and recovery.

03Do I need to add any supplements?+

No. G28 is formulated by a board-certified nutritionist to work in combination with raw meat.

Adding extra supplements is not recommended, as it may disrupt the balance.

04How long does it take to see results?+

Allow around 3–4 weeks to see measurable improvements. This gives time for:

  • Digestion to stabilise
  • Body condition to adjust
  • Performance changes to become noticeable
05How much difference can G28 make to performance?+

In controlled trials, diets aligned with G28’s macronutrient profile showed improvements of around 0.2 seconds over 500 metres. In racing terms, this can be the difference between winning and losing.

Results depend on training, genetics, and overall conditioning.

06How much should I feed?+

Feeding depends on body weight and workload. As a guide: a 33kg racing dog typically requires ~420g G28 + 420g raw meat per day.

Adjust based on body condition and performance.

07How do I transition my dog onto G28?+

Transition gradually:

  • 25% G28 / 75% current food
  • 50/50 once stools are firm
  • 75% G28 / 25% old food
  • Then full G28 + raw meat

Only increase once stools are firm.

08Will it work for dogs that are not racing?+

Yes. G28 can support:

  • Lean muscle
  • Coat condition
  • Overall health

Adjust feeding amounts based on energy needs.

09Is G28 a complete and balanced food?+

G28 is not designed to be fed alone. It becomes nutritionally complete when combined with raw meat in the recommended ratio.

10What happens if I don’t follow the 50:50 ratio?+

The ratio is important. Changing it will affect:

  • Energy levels
  • Nutrient balance
  • Performance outcomes

For best results, stick to the recommended 50:50 split.

“G28 is designed as a system. Follow the system, and the results will follow.”
